FOUNTAIN HILLS, Arizona, September 28, 2026 — Legacy Energy Consulting, a prominent merger and acquisitions consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Hilco Holdings, Inc. (“Hilco”) and Crystal Flash, Inc. (“Crystal Flash”) announced today that affiliates of Hilco have completed the acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets of J-M Transport from Crystal Flash.

The transaction closed on September 26, 2026, and J-M Transport began Day One operations as part of Hilco on September 28, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1983 by the Jacobson family in Millington, Illinois, J-M Transport provides specialized liquid bulk transportation services, including propane transportation, throughout the Midwest. Crystal Flash acquired the business in 2021.

“Chad, Dustin, and Tyler were excellent partners, providing strong industry knowledge, consistent communication, and guidance that helped keep the process moving from beginning to end,” Gandy added.

Legacy Energy Consulting served as the exclusive advisor to Crystal Flash, providing valuation guidance, confidential buyer outreach, transaction strategy, negotiation support, and due diligence coordination. Chad Pendill, Dustin Shafer, and Tyler Pendill managed the transaction, which marks Legacy Energy Consulting’s third transaction in 2026 and thirtieth since its founding in 2020.
