Why Experience Matters

Not every business sale goes exactly as planned. In one particularly challenging transaction, Legacy Energy Consulting had spent several months marketing a propane business and had successfully negotiated an offer with a qualified buyer. Just two weeks after the agreement was signed, the business owner unexpectedly passed away. The responsibility of completing due diligence and guiding the transaction to closing shifted to the owner's family, creating an emotional and complex situation for everyone involved.
