Legacy Energy Consulting, a prominent merger and acquisitions consulting firm, is pleased to announce the successful sale of Gatorgas LP, Inc., located in Old Town, FL to Palmdale Propane, a subsidiary of Palmdale Oil Company.


Gatorgas was established in 1985 by Frank Anderson and a silent partner, Bob Gratton, beginning with a small cylinder exchange and a single fill station. Over the subsequent 40 years, Gatorgas evolved into a business that garnered both partners' pride, continuously expanding and serving the local community and beyond. Frank managed Gatorgas until his passing in June 2023. Following this, ownership of the company transferred to his daughter, Jennifer Anderson, and his wife, Debbie Anderson, with Jennifer assuming responsibility for daily operations.

This accomplishment brings the total number of transactions to twenty-two since the company's inception in 2020.

Legacy Propane of Allison, IA was originally established as Allison Propane in 1972 and was acquired by Heritage Petroleum of Evansville, IN as part of its much larger acquisition of Diamond Oil in February of 2025.
